Actually, I was bewildered when I read this article because I remembered the another article I picked up recently about the quarantine period would become 3 days.
Here is what I found out. Only business people are allowed to quarantine for 3 days only if one is vaccinated with approved vaccine in Japan. The confusion came from the combination of the confusing easy Japanese title and the hope what I wish for foreign students.
実は今日の記事、ちょっと混乱しました。というのも、ちょっと前に確か隔離期間が３日間になるという記事を呼んだ気がしたからなんです。
というわけで調べた結果がこちらです。ビジネス目的の人だけは、３日間にする。しかも日本で認めているワクチンを接種済みの人に限って、という内容でした。混乱が生じた理由は、まずやさしい日本語ならではのタイトルにかく乱させられたこと。そして、学生も３日間にしてあげてほしいという私の願い。この２つが合わさった結果だったというわけです。
